Nessel seeks stronger safeguards in Google power-contract case

The Attorney General’s June 11 release says her office filed testimony in U-22058 concerning DTE’s proposed contracts for Google’s Van Buren Township data center. Her recommendations include increasing minimum monthly charges and exit fees and tracking costs to protect other customers. These are an intervenor’s recommendations, not adopted requirements; a later Commission disposition was not verified.[1]
