Tecumseh OKs moratoriums on data centers and renewables

MyLenaweeNews reports that Tecumseh City Council unanimously approved a 12-month pause on accepting or processing data-center permit applications at its October 5 meeting. A separate 7-0 vote enacted a similar 12-month moratorium on renewable-energy facilities. The council directed the planning commission to study the issues and develop any needed zoning regulations; this report describes a temporary permit pause, not a permanent ban.[1]
